JLaToiya has been described as a creative, multifaceted, transcendenting and gifted artist.
As a musician, her musically versatility has been consistent since childhood. Her quest to be the best made her practice relentlessly and surround herself with all forms of music. These efforts proved successful when she was asked to join, gospel group RiZen on their national USA and European tours.
Looking to take her career to the next level, JLaToiya stepped onto the R&B genre touring all over the U.S., Europe, Japan and Asia with Musiq Soulchild. With these opportunity also came product endorsements; from Sabian Cymbals , Vater Percussion, Aquarian Drumheads, Reunion Blues, Pig Hog Cables, Pearl Drums, Roland and Future Sonics in-ear monitors.
Coupled with a vision to be “ More than a drummer”’, her destiny fulfillment includes being an entrepreneur of several companies—Drummer Girl Productions Inc, Studio 806 and MarJhon Creative Group.
When JLaToiya is not on a stage, you can find her one of many places, in a studio producing and recording music, renovating houses or traveling the country enjoying life. Her career motivation is simple, “to fulfill my destiny with purpose and passion.”
