Oscar Autie is a Latin Grammy Winner and participated in nine Grammy nominated projects. He is a voting member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Grammy), a voting member of the Latin Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (Latin Grammy), a voting member of the P&E (Producers & Engineers Wing), and a member of the Audio Engineering Society.

Kenya Autie is a Producer, Songwriter, and Studio Owner. She studied guitar in the Conservatory of Guanabacoa, Havana, Cuba and was the first woman to play guitar in a rock band in Cuba, her country of birth. At the time, rock was frown upon by the government, so it was very difficult to find venues, or even rehearsal spaces. However, she managed to play and was an inspiration for other women to start playing guitar and other instruments in rock bands as well.

El Cerrito Studio is a professional music recording studio located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our studio services include music production, recording, mix, and mastering for all types of music genre and projects. Our Engineer, Oscar Autie, has over 25 years of experience in the recording industry and has worked with world famous musicians and Grammy Award/Nominated artists such as: Jackson Browne, Diego El Cigala, Fito Paez, Pancho Quinto, Omar Sosa, Isaac Delgado, Carlos Varela, Silvio Rodriguez, Gema Corredera, Sintesis, Francisco Aguabella, Concha Vargas, Skankin’ Pickle, Barbara Dane, Jackeline Rago, Mezcla, and Conjunto Cespedes.

The studio is fully equipped with a control room and three recording rooms. Each room is completely isolated and acoustically treated. We use cutting edge technology and equipment, and we have a Yamaha Grand Piano. El Cerrito Studio is under the umbrella of El Cerrito Productions, a Record Label, Licensing, Promotions, and Publishing Company.
