I actually own a real Sony C-800g & I believe that the Warm Audio WA-8000 is identical. Out the box, it sounds mix ready but If you do a 1-2db boost at 200-300 hz it Sounds even better & closer to the early models!

The Warm Audio WA273-EQ is one of my favorite 1073's, it just does that thing We all know & love!

I wouldn't even think about recording a drum set again without the Warm Audio WA-412 4-channel.

The Warm Audio WA-14's have that vintage vibe! great for overheads, pianos, vocals & Acoustic Guitar
