Introduction

A firecracker personality with an unorthodox sound, Whitney Peyton is a multi-Billboard charting songwriter and lyricist. The Philadelphia native has completed many successful national tours, as well as international dates both as a headliner and a supporting act. Peyton has shared the stage with the likes of Three 6 Mafia, Rittz, Dizzy Wright, and more. In a post-pandemic world, Whitney is back on the road again as she celebrates the release of her full-length album The Audacity via her own newly established independent label, Alpha Howse.

Whitney Peyton possesses extreme lyrical versatility and delivers with a high energy performance style. In recent years, she has graced the main stage of major music festivals including Pot of Gold alongside Post Malone, GOTJ opening for Bone Thugs N Harmony, Northern Invasion with Tool, Warped Tour, Musikfest, Blue Ridge Rock Festival, SxSW, and SouthbySoWhat.

In her career, Whitney has amassed a sizable fan base with multiple albums including Firecracker, Iridescent, and Alpha. Past record deals with Tragic Hero Records and Suburban Noize saw each of her albums accumulate millions of streams and chart on Billboard. In addition to her solo projects, she has recorded theme music for a number of college and pro cheer teams, wrestlers, and popular podcasters. She was a key songwriter/vocalist for the 2012 Grammy Award-winning children’s album All about Bullies. Peyton remains a voting Academy member for the LA Grammy chapter to this day.

The launch of Alpha Howse saw Whitney add “CEO” to her resume. With over 1.3 million streams on Spotify alone on her 2017 Firecracker album, and another 1 million on her 2020 iridescent album, singles and projects leading up to 2022 have kept fans intrigued. The young go-getter saw success yet again with her first independent release, The Audacity. The 10-track album featured fan favorite singles like “Give It Gas” (along with the remix), “Over & Over” and “On My Way to PHX”. Collabs with The Game, Melissa Marie (of Millionaires), Mega Ran, Dizzy Wright, King Iso (Strange Music), and more contributed to this juggernaut of a project.

“I've always been a hands-on artist,” Whitney expresses. “Launching my own company made sense to not only me, but to the amazing supporters who have followed my career and have come to expect a reflection of my personality and message in all of my music, merch, videos, etcetera. It's not about being the cool kid, it's about dropping quality content that's entertaining, but still relatable to the people watching. My listeners have been through the same things I have, and we've helped each other in so many ways. This isn't branding, it's an unbreakable bond. I’m truly excited for the future!”.

I used the Warm Audio WA-8000 mic for my latest album, "The Audacity." Even though this was the first project I released completely independently, you would never know the difference because the quality it achieved could hold up against any other industry heavy hitter. I don't just love what this mic captures sonically, but also the confidence it brings out in my performance.
