This is my honest opinion, it sounds amazing, really good quality, really clean, and it has a very familiar sound to it. I came up on analog gear, I've used the CL1B a ton of times throughout my career so it was such a familiar feeling. I texted Young Guru & said, "Now I'm gonna have to put this in my setup, I'm gonna have to go outside my box. That was my genuine response, I really like the gear and it's a good way for me to break my own habits. I sent Pharrell a picture and because he loves gear he sent me back a bunch of !!!!. A lot of artists get really excited when they hear their engineers are getting into real gear."
