Introduction

Los Angeles-based singer/songwriter/producer Shane Alexander has shaped a distinctive career for himself from his indie folk-rock debut The Middle Way in 2005, through his 7th solo album A Life Like Ours. Touring the United States, Europe and Canada both as a headliner, and supporting acts like Bon Iver, Seal, Jewel, John Hiatt, Suzanne Vega, Styx and Yes, the fiercely independent artist has developed a loyal international fanbase, had his original material appear in dozens of television shows and films, and earned over 20 millions streams.

In 2012, Shane was approached by Emmy-winning / Tony-nominated director Larry Carpenter who wanted to write a musical based around existing songs from his catalog. The two partnered up and
'The Freedom Machine' made its debut in 2015 at the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts to rave reviews.

Also in 2015, Shane fulfilled a lifelong-dream and built Buddhaland Studios - a beautiful multi-purpose writing, recording and performance facility in Westlake Village, California. As soon as Buddhland was completed, he set to work producing records for artists Jenny Van West, Shelby Figueroa, Derek Jennings, the band Sölstrom and Arielle Silver, as well as his last two solo albums and a number of singles.

When the pandemic struck, Alexander pivoted to online writing sessions with artists all over the world, yielding a whopping 60 songs to date.

In Spring of 2021, Chevrolet licensed the song "Everything as One" from A Life Like Ours to be featured in their national 'Drive Safe' commercial campaign.
Shane Alexander is currently in production for multiple recording projects including his 8th solo record and the debut for recent Voice of Holland standout, powerhouse-vocalist Senja Sargeant.
